In this work, children and young people with autism will discover the story of Diego, a young man who, from an early age, was deeply captivated by his unique interests such as leaf patterns, the mechanics of clocks, and video game logic. Despite being encouraged to participate in more conventional activities, Diego remained true to his passions. The narrative follows his journey as he pursues his dream of becoming a video game designer, a path that brings to light his challenges with social interactions and communication during an important job interview. After facing rejection, Diego learns the importance of social skills in professional settings through the support and insight of his sister, Clara.

This tale serves as a basis for teaching social and emotional skills through role-playing games designed to simulate scenarios Diego encountered. These role-plays will help participants practice maintaining eye contact, interpreting non-verbal cues, and effective communication within a team. Each game aims to develop specific skills such as handling rejection and working collaboratively, which are crucial for personal and professional success.
